1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the One Hella Mechanic Mobile Services website, contact forms, messages, scheduling communications, and mobile auto-repair services. By using our website, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or authorizing work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or request service.
2. Our Mobile Services
One Hella Mechanic Mobile Services provides mobile vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and related services at customer-selected locations in our service area when the location, access, conditions, and requested work are appropriate and permitted. Availability is not guaranteed, and we may decline, reschedule, or stop work when conditions are unsafe, access is inadequate, the location is not permitted, the vehicle cannot be serviced safely on-site, required parts or tools are unavailable, or the requested service is outside our capabilities.
3. Estimates, Diagnoses, and Approval
Any quote, estimate, inspection result, or diagnostic assessment is based on the information and conditions available when we assess the vehicle. Hidden damage, prior repairs, corrosion, aftermarket modifications, vehicle condition, inaccurate customer information, parts availability, or additional testing may change the scope, timing, or cost of work. An estimate is not a guarantee that a condition will be fully resolved or that another condition will not be discovered.
We will seek authorization before completing material additional work or charging for material additional parts or labor, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect safety or property and you have authorized it.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle, location, contact, and problem-description information. You represent that you own the vehicle or are authorized to request and approve the work. You must provide lawful access to the vehicle, a safe and reasonably accessible work area, required keys or security information, and any permissions needed from a property owner, employer, parking operator, or other responsible party. You are responsible for safeguarding personal belongings in the vehicle and for following manufacturer instructions, safety recalls, and any post-service recommendations we provide.
5. Location, Weather, and Scheduling
Mobile service depends on safe working conditions. Weather, terrain, lighting, traffic, parking restrictions, property rules, equipment needs, parts delays, prior appointments, and other operational conditions can affect arrival windows and service timing. We may reschedule when rain, heat, smoke, snow, wind, hazardous conditions, or site restrictions make work unsafe or impractical. We do not promise a specific arrival time unless one is confirmed in writing.
6. Prices, Travel, Parts, and Payment
Service prices, diagnostic charges, travel charges, and parts costs will be communicated through the applicable estimate, quote, invoice, or approved service communication. Parts are not included unless expressly stated. We may use new, remanufactured, aftermarket, or customer-supplied parts only when agreed; customer-supplied or nonstandard parts can affect fitment, timing, warranty, and the ability to verify a repair. Payment terms and accepted payment methods will be communicated before or at service. You are responsible for authorized charges and applicable taxes or fees.
7. Warranty and Service Limitations
Any warranty, if offered, will be stated in writing with its duration, scope, exclusions, and claim process. Except for written warranties that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, mobile automotive work, diagnostic information, and website materials are provided on an “as available” basis. Vehicle repairs involve existing-condition and component-failure risks; we do not guarantee that a vehicle will pass emissions testing, remain free from unrelated failures, or operate without future maintenance or repair needs.
8. Communications and SMS Consent
When you provide a phone number or email, you authorize us to use it for service-related communication, including appointment coordination, vehicle questions, estimates, invoices, and follow-up. Marketing or promotional text messages are sent only when you provide the separate consent requested through our form or another affirmative opt-in. Message frequency may vary and message/data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent necessary non-marketing service communications where permitted by law.
9. Website Use and Third-Party Services
Website content is for general information and does not replace a vehicle inspection or professional diagnosis. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or use content or branding without permission. The website may include third-party services, embedded forms, or social-media links. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Hella Mechanic Mobile Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, scheduling, delays, vehicle condition, third-party parts, or services, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Changes
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Your continued use of the website or services after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
